FemTouch is a non surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatment that uses a fractional CO2 laser. The treatment applies controlled energy along the vaginal wall. What treatment day is like

FemTouch is performed in office. Treatment involves a series of controlled passes along the vaginal wall using fractional CO2 laser energy. Most patients describe the sensation as tolerable. Your provider will explain what you may feel, how long the session takes, and what to do afterward. You will also receive written aftercare instructions.

Downtime and aftercare

Many patients choose FemTouch because it is non surgical and fits into busy schedules. Even so, you still need a plan for aftercare. You may have mild sensitivity for a short time. You may need to avoid certain activities for a period of time based on your provider instructions. The best results come from following aftercare closely and completing the recommended series.

How many treatments will I need?

Does vaginal rejuvenation replace labiaplasty?

Will I have downtime?

Dr. DeRosa Gave Me my Life Back I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. DeRosa and her entire staff! Each of them (Dr. DeRosa, Nurse Katie, Wanda, Tim, and Mackenzie) made me feel so comfortable and welcome from the second I stepped through the door at DeRosa Plastic Surgery. I was suffering big time with Breast Implant Illness that had lead to an autoimmune diagnosis, medications with terrible side effects, and just a lack of ability to truly live life at 36 years old. I'm 8 weeks post-op now and feel like an entirely new person! Not to mention, Dr. DeRosa does beautiful work and I feel even more feminine with my new breasts than I ever did with my implants! The day of surgery went so smoothly, I arrived at 6:30am to see Nurse Katie's smiling face and the smiles didn't stop, both Wanda and Dr. DeRosa came to speak with me and made sure I was comfortable with everything that was about to happen. Office review - fantastic team and run a superb office When I required explant surgery, I wanted the absolute best skilled surgeon I could find. Dr. DeRosa certainly delivered! She is a gifted and talented surgeon who truly cares about her patients before and long after the operation. Implant removal with areola adjustment and skin excision I choose Dr. DeRosa for my implant removal after doing a lot of research. I ended up driving 8 hours for my October, 2022 consult and after meeting her and her wonderful team knew immediately that I made the right decision! My implants were 23 year old silicone gel that had hardened over the years and had become very uncomfortable. My surgery was scheduled for March 2023. I had Implant removal with areola adjustment and skin excision. The communication between Dr. DeRosa's office myself and my primary care provider was excellent and I was able to have all of my pre-op testing completed in a timely manner. The week before surgery the nervousness was starting to kick in until I got a call from Michelle who would be administrating my Anesthesia. She walked me through everything that would be taking place and totally calmed me down. Because of my conversation with her I went into surgery feeling excited verses nervous! As for Dr. DeRosa, she is extremely professional, warm and caring, concerned, and in my opinion the very best in her field! My results are beyond anything that I was expecting, she is a true artist! I am now 7 weeks out. Recovery is going great! Thank you again Dr. DeRosa, Tim, Rebecca, Michelle and staff!

My friends say you look great and I am calling her! Dr. Derosa, listened to my plan, liked my plan, and did not try to push any other procedure. She managed expectations. I had no pain with my lower or upper eyes and had no bruising in 9 days. I also received Chin Lipo which also exceeded my expectations. If you listen to the instructions you are provided and do what they advise you to do, you too should have great results. My friends just say you look great and I am calling her:) Which one friend did immediately!

Everyone was caring and wonderful - pain was not bad at all Everyone (from beginning to end) was very caring and wonderful to me! Pain was not bad at all after surgery or the days after. I only had one day I felt a little queasy. I didn't care what I looked like after, I just wanted "them" out! I actually felt SO ALIVE, AMAZING AND REVIVED! Seriously weight lifted from me!!! I immediately felt a difference. I am so grateful for Dr. DeRosa from beginning to end, she was so caring and empathetic. I would recommend her to everyone!

I am an Oncology Social Worker at the Botsford / Beaumont Cancer Center in Farmington Hills . I also work contingent at the Hospital and have for the past 30 years . I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.DeRosa at the Hospital and was able to watch how beautifully she cared for her patients . My thoughts were how can someone so brilliant , sweet, kind and caring also be a great Doctor. It was such a great environment to be able to observe her in. Since I also see all of the Cancer Patients at the Cancer Center I felt very confident in recommending her to my patients that had not had the best of outcomes with their past surgeries and felt that she would be able to help them feel better about themselves after meeting with her and hearing how she could help them . I felt very confident and comfortable recommending her to many of my patients . Since I see patients at many different stages of their treatments I would recommend her to the newly diagnosed breast cancer patients to those who had not had the best of outcomes with their previous surgeries . I am also a 3 year breast cancer survivor and requested that Dr. DeRosa do my Lumpectomy . It looked great but I did not have clear margins so I needed a complete mastectomy less then 2 weeks later . I had expanders places and went through chemotherapy and radiation treatments . I returned to work after my surgery and worked during my chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Dr DeRosa came to the Cancer Center and worked with my radiation oncologist Dr James Fontanesi to help plan what would be the best way to radiate my affected areas and to allow for maximum preservation of the radiated breast tissue . This was something that I would never expect a busy physician to do but I totally appreciated how much time she spent making sure I would have the best of outcomes. I think for many women and men going through Cancer Treatments that we feel that we are no longer in control of our lives and outcomes . I feel that Dr.DeRosa helped me to feel that this was just part of the process and that we can make sure that I would have the best outcome possible . Cancer patients also feel that they will never be whole again and Dr. DeRosa honestly does her best to make you feel that she has done everything she can to make you feel that everything has been done that can be to ensure that you feel as much like your old self as you can . Dr. DeRosas new medical facility and staff are also wonderful and make you feel that they are there to take care of you and offer you the best of care . I would recommend Dr.DeRosa to anyone and feel 100 percent comfortable sending anyone to her and her wonderful staff. The funny thing about cancer is that once you have had it you always have that fear in the back of your mind that you can have a recurrence and that you will never be the same again. I think if you surround yourself with good caregivers and physicians that have tried their best to do whatever they can to make you whole again that you just come back stronger . Maybe not the same as you once were but stronger in many ways . I think that people like Dr. DeRosa help you become that stronger person and make you feel that they cared for you and are there for you . Dr. DeRosa and her staff have been absolutely amazing. From the very beginning they have answered all of my questions and been very understanding. They worked with my insurance which a lot of doctors won't even attempt to do. Last Friday Dr. DeRosa completed a fleur de lis panniculectomy and abdominoplasty with muscle repair at Beaumont Farmington Hills. I could not be happier.
