A facelift surgery is a cosmetic surgical procedure which can help turn back the hands of time and make a patient look more youthful. Types of Facelifts

Dr. DeRosa performs several types of facelifts. She will advise each patient at their consultation appointment as to which type of facelift is best for them. The different types of facelifts that Dr. DeRosa performs are:

Mini-facelift: This procedure focuses on correcting early facial changes such as loose skin and early bands in the neck and loosening of the cheek area. It is best suited for younger patients, usually late 30’s through the 40’s.
Lower facelift: This procedure corrects changes in the neck, jawline area, and lower cheek. This procedure is often best for patients in their later 40’s and 50’s. The lower facelift dramatically tightens the neck, restores younger neck contours, restores the jawline, improves the jowl area, and tightens and lifts the lower cheek.*
Full facelift: This procedure corrects the neck, jawline area, and full cheek. The full facelift adds additional correction to the upper cheek area and temple region. It is often the best procedure for patients in their late 50’s to 70’s.
