Dr. Amy P. DeRosa is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She started her post-graduate education at Exempla St Joseph Medical Center in Denver, Colorado as a general surgery resident. She then went on to complete her training in southeast Michigan through the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for both her General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery programs. Dr. Amy P. DeRosa sees patients out of her office and surgical center in West Bloomfield, MI.

Educated and Trained Locally

Dr. DeRosa completed the plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship through Michigan State University at several of the most prestigious local hospitals in Michigan. She trained at Beaumont Hospital- Farmington Hills, Henry Ford, DMC (including Children’s Hospital), McLaren Oakland, St John Oakland, Oakland Regional (Michigan Hand Associates,) and Beaumont Hospital. Her training has included extensive experience in cosmetics, hand, breast cancer, microvascular, oculoplastics, craniofacial, OMFS, burn, facial trauma and reconstructive procedures.

Voted Who’s Who in Medicine

Dr. DeRosa was included in “Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare” during most of her post-graduate clinical training. She also received the Dorothy V Kraft Resident Award/Scholarship during her general surgery residency and was on the dean’s list at both the undergraduate and medical school levels.
